So for the first time in my life I have finally gone up to the overweight category in the BMI chart. I’m about 170, and my height is 5’9.” I should add that I have been lifting weights for about 6 months, and I’ll guess that 5 or 10 pounds could be due to muscle gains. Anyway, my question is would hitting the overweight category mean I’ll have to be given additional medical tests!?
Dam, I better start losing some weight! On the bright side, I may be fine with my neck size of 15 inches.
I've been in the overweight category since I started driving. Neck size is the biggest concern, it seems. When I had a 17.5 neck, they'd give me all sorts of crap. At 16.5 no one bats an eye.
I’m 5’9”. 210, never had a problem. When I was 170, I was in perfect shape, no fat. I can’t imagine you having a problem
I find BMI to be a inaccurate measurement of a person’s health. The doctors actually call Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson obese because he’s 285 lbs. But he’s extremely fit.
