Could be, I was always looking for ways to diversify, some panned out, others didn't. Not really being a gambling man, I've always liked a sure bet, but we both know that's usually not possible. I've always hedged about a new endeavor if the startup costs are too high. Sometimes it's better to start small, see how it goes. This way if it doesn't pan out, your financial investment loss won't break you....

Funny story, I worked one day about 5 weeks ago and my wife tells me I'm gonna have to let her know if SHE'S got to find someplace else to stay...
I worked again the following week, and she tells me I'M gonna have to find someplace else to stay...

that's when I decided I better stay home...

Man, it ain't the name on the door, it's the man at the helm, and the cool freight he's hauling (Or her!) Y'all flatbedders always intrigue me. Glad to see you back around, bro! I love checking out the pix on this thread. :)

Thanks guys, I know. And I mean hauling all that precast last summer and fall was an opportunity I never expected, it put me way ahead of what i expected to ever do here. And actually got me a slot at something much bigger, which is put on hold till i get a few personal matters out of the way.

Helps that i legitimately enjoy teaching as well.

Although, its honestly going to be hard for me to leave, when i chose to do so. But its actually still fun. Granted, everyone in the PHX office knows my face and my voice, which helps alot, with alot of things.

    As for students.
Think the total body count is around 30 or so now, some back in reefer, most in flat. I wasnt taking em when I was home everyday.

@D.Tibbitt found out DLD actually is located in PHX. Equipment/Saftey guy gave me directions.
