Admitting her for a really bad UTI, a partial bowel blockage, elevated sugar and white cell count. May require surgery. I tell ya, when it rains, it pours. SMH

 

Been sitting here for 2 hours. There’s about 5 of us and 6 others. Not looking to good right now.

 

I’m pissed, and somewhat annoyed. Our fleet in the last 6 moths, has got in 200 new dry vans, 100 new reefers, and 100 new trucks. As I sit here at Groveport watching the comings and goings of our trucks, one issue keeps resonating with me. The amount of damage done to brand new equipment. I’ve seen a 20xx Volvo that overshot the pin and has crushed cab extenders and a crushed sleeper back, a 21xx Volvo with the passenger cab extender folded all the way to the sleeper and a 55xx reefer with as much damage as a 50xx reefer. This is all equipment that’s less then 6 months old. I’m thinking I might be overqualified to work here.

3. I’m parked sideways.

 

I always preferred that dirt road behind the bobtail parking. Much quieter than the assigned bobtail spots when tandems are being slammed at the guard shack.

 

My load won’t be ready until 5am, I’m thinking of going back there.
