Yeah it will go back eventually. The ICC, which was more or less what these idiots are clamoring for now, lasted for nearly a century before they killed it.

Well we truckers might not need them, but I think many shippers will. Just sticking a load out on a load board doesn't necessarily provide the kind of certainty they need in order to make guarantees to their customers.

And BTW, why on Earth would we need to give 15% to a mere web site?

Why on earth do we need to give 25 or 30 or 50 percent to someone spending 15 minutes doing a few key strokes?

Well the FEAR argument put forth is " Everyone will know what the carriers make."

They already do with a variance in overhead.

But no one knows how much the brokers steal, pardon me, earn, I meant earn.

You've boasted your a broker as well. That's your max on a load right? 15%?

I wouldn’t ever cap myself at 15% lol. That’s stupid. I’m not a charity. You think a broker is going to cap my trucking losses?

I’ve made $1000 even $1500 on loads before. I’ve also made or lost $50, $0, -$500, and even -$800 on loads before.

I do end up around 10 to 15% on the year, most years. This year I’m up around 20% but my trucking side is also down a good 15%. That’s the whole point for me, to offset whether it’s in good times or bad. I’m confident if I looked up my average per mile that I’ve paid carriers it would likely be close to $3/mi so I don’t feel bad at all. Only time I’ve ever paid under $2/Mi is because that’s what the carrier said they wanted.

Btw.. I don’t boast on this forum, I don’t need too. I present facts and talk about my experiences. There are a couple different types of people in this world in regards to what we’re talking about. Those that are jealous, and those who are envious. Jealous people complain and many times act like victims, envious people do and achieve what it is they are envious of.

Why do they make it difficult to get? Do you ever ask yourself that question? Are you talking about the rate confirmation, or the invoice?

If your carrier prepares their own rate confirmation instead of providing you with the actual rate confirmation from the freight broker... there's a reason why.

You have a legal right to possess a genuine copy of the actual, original rate agreement.

If they're not providing it, it's because you're getting trimmed...
