Yeah, I was thinking about it, but still not sure I'm going to. I can be on the road as early as mid-week next.
You can camp here, I am not that possessive. My opinion is it is a forum for sharing info and experience.
Well everything is worked out and finalized, picking up trailer Tuesday in Chicago. Can't really make the run legal in 1 day from here. 734 miles about 13 hours with stops. So will get somewhere in Ohio and pause try to hit Chicago around 10 am. Still working on getting planned out, trying to stay preplanned at least 3 loads ahead. There is a load to eastern IA, but haven't found anything out. It will take a week or so to get everything cooking, good thing is getting home here is always easy. Now that I won't be hauling expedite and air freight. I will be able to stop when I go through.
Hit the jackpot when I got home yesterday from running errands. In the mailbox was my plate and permit, and to top it all off, my authority certificate from DOT also arrived. I pick up my trailer on Wednesday this coming week. I'll get it tagged ASAP and away we go! :smt035:smt035
Left PA yesterday afternoon. Deadhead to Chi-town for trailer. Truck runs good overall. The front end will need attention to keep me happy. Stupid climate temp control knob stopped working again. Simply a weak and bad design. fuel economy is less than I'd like, but that can be fixed. But running wise no issues at all. Trailers not here now until in the morning, need to do my 10 anyway short on hours. Might be going to Cleveland loaded, but only if something reasonably close back out. It will take a few days to get up to speed. Need the time anyway to make sure nothing shows up under load.
