This is what I had assumed from the beginning. Same thing with the father and son who shot the guy suspected of robbing their neighborhood a few weeks back. Anyone else notice that not one article about this trucker, not a single one, refers to him as an immigrant? Rather, i've actually seen him referred to as a "Russian-speaking American citizen".
He came here when he was 4 and legally. I cut them some slack when they play by the rules. Plus he doesn't lay down a rug and pray several times a day. If he had, that scene would have turned out much differently I'm afraid.
The point I was making was more along the lines of how the media like to play up the perpetual victim, the immigrant*. Even if they come en masse with the sole intent of illegally entering this country, the media now calls them immigrants instead of illegal aliens. Since the narrative is that he's a bad man and drove his truck into peaceful protesters, instead this man is referred to as that Russian-speaking American who donated money to President Trump's campaign.
he's a white male, no sympathy for him in the media I am not allowed to make political statements in this forum, however perhaps this gets close to the line without crossing: who last attempted to give amnesty to those in the country illegally? Bet you can't guess...
