Typically if I'm going to file a FG report on 411, it's because the carrier either did something shady (IE held a load hostage, lied to us or falsified paperwork, etc) or went communications blackout on us for a long period of time. I wouldn't file a FG for minor slip ups or giving a load back, but if it was consistent I would probably suggest my team stop working with the carrier.
different breed driver out there now, lack of courtesy is big. wish more carriers enforced a dress code. i
2 sides is correct, being on the front lines is more intense than behind a screen in a cubicle. sometimes safety is a concern!
Not quite sure what your angle is, or what axe you're grinding, but I do know this, being trustworthy, honest, and fair has little to do with what job you do, rather, it's about how you go about doing it. I came off the road for two years back in '90-'91 and took a traffic managers job for a manufacturer. That job was way more "intense", as you put it, then when I was driving. I couldn't wait to get back out on the road. Everyone is born with a good name, it's what you choose to do along the way that determines if it stays that way.....
I've seen ones that are like 3 or 4 years old, so it's definitely a really long time. I'm not sure if they are automatically scrubbed after a certain period of time (I.E. 5 years or 10 years or w/e).
WOW! This should be Illegal. Carriers need to get together and come up with a website where we report brokers.
