To be fair ive only got 200 something miles onthe trip. But ive been able to keep it around 7.3 running 80k thru these mountains, nice and slow and baby it up the hills. Running 70mph before was lucky to get 6.5

We was on a burn ban but got alot of rain last week. I didn't check if it was lifted....I looked north of me and seen smoke so I figured it was good to go.

I'm more the ask for forgiveness than permission type. I know most everyone on the FD....most of them own trucks....drive trucks....or work on them. If it gets called in they always stop out and ask before they go to the station.

We just check the county web site....real easy. This is CA, besides, we got to see stars last night, first time in almost 2 weeks. They are real nasty with anyone tring to burn right now.....wonder why that would be?
