Oh I love listening to watercolors on XM. They play some great jazz on there. Perfect music for cruising down the road

When I ride the night shift, and I can find it... I listen to Coast to Coast AM w/George Noory. If I can't find that... then I'll scan the stations for some decent rock, blues, or... well just something/anything thats interesting. If it gets really bad, then I just pop in an "Audio Adventure"® CD, and listen to a book being read to me. That's when the miles really start to roll by un-noticed.

Why don't you get satellite radio? It's available here in the lower 48 & up there in the land of canucks... So you should be able to get it in Alaska!!!

When you say " I know that truckers listen to country" Are you talking about classic country from the '70s - '80s or the #### they pass off as country now a days ?

AC/DC, Metallica, Megadeth, Rush, Scorpions, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, April Wine, Styx, Journey, DIO, Dream Theater, etc....

Bob & Tom Show in the mornings, if I can find it on the radio dial. I keep all my music on an older Dell DJ mp3 player, bought before the ipod took off.

Any kind of country expect rascall flatts because I personally think they all play the skin flute. I also like Kid Rock, Motley crue and my all time favortie, Im a road hammer - the road hammers
