Are these guys really as bad as the OP indicates? I keep going back to looking at them, on facebook they claim you can be 1099 or w2, empty miles paid, and 2000-3000 miles per week.

 

I did the exact same thing you are doing now. I promise you that it is too good to be true. Breakdown and detention pay are non-existent. You will spend just as much time sitting and waiting for a load as you do driving. I sat for DAYS on more than one occasion. If you live in an area that they say you will get home every weekend, you will not (unless you live in the NE, near their terminal). Nobody there knows what they are doing, and they all have their heads up each other's #####. Not to mention, all but about two of them speak such poor English that it can be very difficult to understand them.

 

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure there's something else going on. The owner drives a friggin Lamborghini Urus. So he's getting his money somewhere. They're almost all Macedonians.

 

They’ll probably pull a similar stunt as Multigroup out of Chicago (Bulgarians). Keep growing at a rapid pace and ripping everyone til one morning they close up shop and vanish. Multigroup leased everything single piece of equipment they had though, not sure if that’s the case with these guys

I got referred to Z from my friend, him and his wife are team drivers there for many years now. 3 months in and I am very happy with everything. My minimum weekly miles are around 2800, I am paid 0.60 CPM on W2, and they cover half of my family's health insurance. Plus they gave me a brand new 2021 VNL 860 truck, even the plastic wraps were still inside.

Also there is not a single Russian in this company I really don't understand how people can be so dumb sometimes.

 

Nobody said they were Russian. Last few posts from drivers that previously worked for them(and got hosed) stated that they were Macedonian(former Yugoslavs).

 

Are you referring to those of us who take your endorsement of this company with a grain of salt or the original posters who probably meant to put this firm in the best companies to work for?

 

Hmm interesting..David Hunter posted just last Tuesday in another thread he was considering applying with them and now he says he is three months in. Don't come in here lying. This forum is all about facts and truth, not misleading drivers.
