Truck stop or Truck Parking around Wood Dale, IL

Where would be a good place to park coming into Wood Dale Illinois about 5:00 p.m. local time.
1st time there

 

Russel Road TA, if coming from the north.

 

I'm coming from west I90

 

stop before you get to Chicago.

 

Call your shipper/con and see if they will allow you park there overnight, otherwise I would agree with with @Numb

Closest things I can think of even close to that area is a tiny pissant Pilot on route 83 in Bensenville which has parking for maybe a dozen or so trucks and is full 24 hours a day, wouldn't even waste my time trying it. There is also a Thornton's about a block or so before the Pilot on 83 with a dozen or so spaces but they post 2 hour limit on parking. Not sure if it is enforced or not, or how full it usually is.

Only other option (and probably the best) would be to blow past to the AF in Northlake right by where 294 and 290 meet then backtrack to where you need to be in the morning. It's all pay to park, and probably priced pretty high. Never needed to park there but seems to have open spaces until later and the lot looks fairly roomy.

 

Their is TA and I think a new love's. I-90 exit 42 Hampshire illinois. They probably fill up early. Might need paid parking to save a spot. Not sure how busy the because of the new love's truck stop. Might be lot of free parking now

 

TA Elgin I- 90 exit 42. Big Loves at the same exit. Trucker path history shows plenty of parking around 1700. Learn to use Trucker path. It is your friend!
