    I was reading an article that the EPA is gonna be making some major changes here quickly and read that there seem to be going somewhat following Commiefornia emissions standards. Will see, thanks to the Biden administration.

    Whoever wrote that was either embarrassingly misinformed or intentionally fearmongering. All they've got in the works is reinstating the standards for new fleets which had been cancelled by the prior administration, and re-affirming California's right to impose it's own more rigid internal standards, which the prior administration had also attempted to take away.

    I’m trying to find where I read that article. It wasn’t written on stone, they just brought up something about following CARB standards. Anyhow, you might be correct. I just flew over the article cuz I’m in Commiefornia and I’m in compliance anyways..... been hearing rumors for awhile though that the feds have been looking into following Commiefornia standards.

    I also thought I had seen something about that, but who knows what's really going to happen. I'm more concerned with the PROs act and what that could mean for O/Os

    It depends on what type of trailer you are going to run but if you decide to lease on I would consider Landstar, Mercer or Schneider.

    This is the first time I've seen anyone recommend Schneider. I had looked in to them when I first got my CDL

    Wouldn't mean anything for o/o's, except maybe higher rates.

    Schneider choice board has been decent, although their fleece program is questionable. Consensus verdict has been to bring your own truck.

    I've recommended Schneider before, but there's something potentially shady going on with their load board program these days. Apparently they've developed a second load board with a different pay structure, and they're offering drivers the opportunity to switch or not without letting them see it, and their decision is final. I'm curious how it plays out.

    I know that @bzinger has had good success at Morehouse which I believe is in Omaha. He is leased on there and also successfully bought his truck through them.

    Netting 4g on 2500 miles? Is that ALL expenses out? Fuel plates tolls insurance?
