I have a minor non reportable accident that happened in November. Is this something you put on applications or leave out since it’s only within the company system? I was told it doesn’t go on DAC or PSP either
Depends on the question. If asked for all wrecks, you need to list it. Just because it's not on a PSP report, or MVR or whatever doesn't mean it's not in an insurance database somewhere. Be honest. There is a good chance the company will find out anyway.
thanks for the advice. I have been putting it on all my applications so I don’t end up screwing myself
If you find that being honest and listing it is keeping you from being hired, try not listing it and see what happens . But many companies will hire convicted felons , so a non reportable minor accident causing you to not be hired is unlikely, unless it’s for a very elite position.
well I’m with transforce right now to hold me over until I find a company I can transfer to South Carolina with
if you have a police report ,then it is on record. DAC is now Hireright; HireRight - Driving a Higher Standard.
Most of the insurance companies I've been involved with allow one 'at fault' accident in the past 3 years. Hang onto that accident report so you can prove 'fault' at a later date like when moving up, etc. I often get asked to have an applicant provide PD reports when there are (2) showing to determine fault. Some state [like NJ] list ALL 'police reported' accidents so if a report was made there COULD be something popping up.
