Perhaps you don't understand that Restaurant employees are exempt from the minimum wage laws, and some of them only make about $2.50 an hour (plus tips). I ALWAYS figure at least 15% into the cost of the meal, more if the waiter/waitress treats me good. If you can't do that, don't embarrass yourself, spend more time eating at Wendy's.
NO ONE is "obligated" to give a tip, unless it is resteraunt policy to include it in the bill. If there are a lot of people like YOU in your neighborhood, I could understand the need for "compulsory" tipping. Restaurant employees are EXEMPT from minimum wage laws, and not everyone has the cash to eat at 5* restaurants....... But hey; you are only 23, so I wouldn't really expect you to understand that. Hell, you probably just moved out of your dad's house last week........right?
I haven't ever had a problem with someone "spitting" on my food. But then again, I outgrew your attitude when I was 9.

LMAO...now that's funny. I don't care who ya are. Short and funny wants to go to the big show....with no money. Lady friend of mine says the 2 easiest guys to spot are the cheap ones, and the broke ones. The cheap ones stiff the waitress. The broke ones over tip trying to impress their date and/or the waitress. And while they may be nice looking, neither are really worth her time.
