Especially if they are traded on the stock exchange. Small family corporations have different problems when it comes to personal assets.

Just hired on with Arrow. Recruiter said I'd make loads of money and this would be the best career move I could ever make. Recruiter also had me pay $500 'earnest money' up front but that's ok as I know I'm making the career move of my life!

I phoned but the recording stated 'the line had been disconnected'. That's ok as I'm on my way to the Greyhound Station right now! I'll keep everyone informed on my progress at Arrow as my recruiter said I'd be a 'super trucker' within a year!:biggrin_25523:

That doesn't really work anymore, especially when harm was done to others in or around the corporation from a corporate officers' personal actions or behavior. That is why you now see the corporation and it's officers named in lawsuits these days. Anyone who thinks they will be able to hide behind a corporate veil, should look at the many cases over the past 10 years. Case in point: Ken Lay

One thing is a sure bet. The phone at the owner's house isn't getting answered or is disconnected by now. :biggrin_2559:

My step sister's dead husband drove for them back in the 80's. Promised him he could get home for her nursing school graduation.............never happened.

    Good riddence!
