    Ok. Then I'm not interested, I sleep in cab for 4 nights a week. The truck was in a locked yard so I couldn't se it at all, it's a container truck but I don't know if it was for 7.45 or 7.82 container. I need 7.45. I have 7.45 container with fully open left side and fittings for a moffet forklift.

    This week i have driven a Mercedes Arocs 2651 hooklifter. I must say it's worst truck I've driven for many years. The cab is almost as bad as Volvo version 3 and the amt gearbox is a joke. But it was nice on the road. I know you don't like the volvo v4 cab, but the Merc feels like it's at least 10 years older. The only thing that was better in the Merc was that my shoes was dry on the steps.

    And for friends in NA: In Sweden we don't take shoes in the house or cab. And no, we don't use flipflops.

    @haycarter
    How does retirement work down under?
    The reason i ask is i see several drivers that are 65y and older still working.
    Are they retired but still working?(yes,you can do that in the EU)

    haycarter Thanks this.

    It's a high roof narrow cab. Big mirrors and thick A- pillars makes a big dead angle in intersections. ( I undertand now why mirror cams are popular on Mercedes.)Steps to cab are small and made of cheap plastic. Cab heater under floor on driver side makes the cab smell diesel when it is cold. And did I mention the gearbox?
    This week do I have a -09 Volvo FH480 with 1.5 million km. Old and slow. But it can pick gears correctly

    There's No official Retirement Age.
    You can work as long as you like & are able.. These quite a few Truck drivers well into their 70's still driving..
    However, to access the Govts Old age pension you have to be 67 yrs Old (It is also asset & means tested) To access your Superannuation you have to be 65 yrs Old, You can do this & still keep working if you choose to do so..
