    Rollerskate = sportscar.

    Remembered from a couple of cannonball runs.
    Ft. Laud. to Scottsdale, 42 hrs. 1976
    Ft. Laud. to San Diego, 47 hrs. 1977

    You guys helped all of the way! My handle was Laserbeam, the fastest between two points.

    My guess would be a pickle is another name for a man's wiener, and a rest stop was probably known to be used by truckers to get their freak on.

    Ditto on the Smokey And The Bandit....a good place to learn all sorts of CB lingo...oh and "Convoy"...lots of CB lingo there too.
