It’s not so bad, you can still get to gourmet dogs at loves for $3.33.

Where do you buy a pack of 10 buns?
It is usually 6 buns per pack.

Those extra 2 hot dogs can be used with a can of Bush's baked beans for some beanies and wienies.

Roll that beautiful baked bean footage...

I don't know where you all live, but here in Texas our buns and hot dogs come in 8 per pack. We do simple math.

Yup. Been noticing too. I always stock up and try to avoid eating at the truck stops whenever possible, but this last week out I ate twice inside. Spent over $25 on what usually seemed around $15. Simple stuff like a sandwich and chips, or a couple items from the fresh/chilled section. Nothing special.

    Never again. I'd rather fast.

It's sickening the way truck stops try to gouge truckers and travelers in general. I believe my first post to this forum was when I took a photo of a single ball point Pen that was like $15.00 HAHA wtf

Truck stops charge the same as convenience stores. They are supplied by the same sources. It costs a lot of money to buy the land and build the store, etc. Convenience costs money. The people buying a pen for $15 are not concerned about price. I don't remember reading about all the truck drivers in the last 2 years willing to move freight for the lower prices before supply chain meltdown.

What a dumb take. Yeah that .20 cent pen they sell for $15 is justified because they're just paying for the land! LOL
