To paraphrase Mike Tyson's famous saying; everyone has a plan until they are punched in the mouth. Everyone has a plan until they have to go RIGHT NOW. When I had food poisoning a few years ago at home. There were no symptoms other than a slightly full stomach feeling for an hour or so. Then a few seconds before it stated, I could JUST BARELY make it from the couch to my bathroom before I was vomiting and worse at the same time. I don't think I had 20 seconds warning my next 4 days' activities were about to start. Saying "I'll have enough warning" is not a plan. Make a plan BEFORE it happens to you. Hope is not a plan.

Trust me, I rarely eat cheese on the road anymore. I learned that lesson the hard way. And yeah it was BAD. Lol

When I’m on the road the only thing I eat is chicken fingers and fries

I figure the hot oil kills the germs

Years ago I used to work for the health department. And while it is true that cooking rotten food or food with bacteria in it at very high temperatures will kill the bacteria, it can still make you sick because the live bacteria dying leaves toxins behind. So if there is enough bacteria in the chicken or whatever even when it’s killed with high temperature, the toxins it leaves behind when ingested can still make you very sick.

People joke about it, but if you’re severely constipated, man it ain’t nothing to joke around about. Lol not much worse.
In my situation, It was so bad I actually thought I might have to call an ambulance. It was not coming out. So hobbled into a Walmart, dripping sweat, heart racing, feeling faint and bought a enema. That did the trick, barely. I had to lay there and take a nap for about an hour before I could even think about driving again. I was walking funny for about a week after that. but I told myself “I will never go through that again.” and I haven’t since. Lol horrible experience.

My stool was so hard that going to the bathroom felt like I was giving birth to a liberal:confused:.
Lots of pain and way too much blood. Didn't matter how much Ex-Lax I took. Finally went to the doctor and he said that codeine does that to alot of people and gave me something to go along with the pain meds. That information would have been helpful earlier:mad:. Just like truck stop sushi I said never again and tossed out them pills.
