I'm about to relocate here in Texas. I've been driving for a large company for just over 4 years. No accidents. I'm on a dedicated, no touch freight account that pays .66 cents per mile. Average weekly mileage is 1700...home weekly. I know it's a great gig, but I'm wondering if there is anything else here in Texas that would match the numbers or better, also around Houston area...would love to get home nightly but afraid I might not get same pay and would have to unload....any ideas?

Get fit, in order to do physical work, ie unloading, if any. Get on the budget, ie less income due to being home a lot.

Tanker or Line Haul companies pay more than you're making now and home every day.
You need all the endorsements for those jobs.
