    2018 LT
    CUMMINS X15
    EATON AUTO 3RD GEN

    On startup, all seems fine.
    When shifted into and gear...
    sa 3 spn 751 fmi 8

So seems to go and shift.
The manual makes this sound like a shifter issue, but wanted to know who's seen this before.

    Thanks!

I’ve had FMI 11 SPN 751 before on my 2013. Is the truck up shifting and downshifting ok?

Afraid I can't tell you much. It never affected my shifting and it never came back after that day. A few people have told me it could have been something as simple as moisture in an electrical circuit.

    2013Maxx Thanks this.

    So this just came back.
If the truck is in neutral, there's no error code. Shifting to any gear caused the error to return.

You might need a new shift controller

That's what I'm wondering. It still seems to be operating correctly but I don't want to be far from a shop when it besides that it's done.
I've been told this can just be the shift controller that's there on the steering column and that's not hard to replace to replace. But I don't know.
    I'm hoping Heavy chimes in.
