Even if I did know somebody who has--that info wouldn't do you much good, really--unless they were working out of the exact same terminal as the one near you, in the El Paso area.

See....all truck terminals are different. No two are exactly alike. Each is run differently, and managed differently.

Thus--your experience as a driver will vary--depending on what terminal you are assigned.

To answer your original request--very few companies will pay for virtually all your up-front expenses, and a training salary, to get a CDL, and then give you a job, afterwards.

That's virtually unheard of.

I gave you an option to do all that--plus start out in tanker.

Yes, you will visit a lot of farms to pick up milk.

But the bulk (pun intended) of your time will actually be spent in the truck--either driving, or waiting to be loaded/unloaded.

Don't expect $100,000 per year right out of the gate in trucking, either.

And trucking is NOT a 9-5 type gig.

Very few trucking jobs (especially for a new driver) are close to, or less than 60 hours per week.

Yes, you''ll need a tanker endorsement.

But....don't sweat it. They will help you get all that stuff.

No, starting out in tankers is not good.

Starting out in tankers is GRRRREAAATTT!!!

Beginning in the CDL world hauling liquids may seem intimidating...to some...at first.

But these people will teach you what you need to know.

And will pay you while you learn.

Pretty cool stuff, indeed.

Later on......after you get some real experience.....if you want, you can "pivot".....to higher paying, hazmat tanker jobs.

But milk hauling is a great way to enter the tanker world--especially if you get paid while you're learning!

Do you have any military experience? If so, there are more options than regular guys coming in off the street.

If not, Western Dairy transport hires out of El Paso. @Chinatown can give you info on their training program.
