Well as I sitting here wondering who I apply for I get a call out of the blue with a Job offer.

Now what the name of the Company? mmm Ooopps I forgot. But It not a large company and good pay. Average 1.50 to the truck. Much better than Greatwide...

 

why not just get your own authority & hit the road coastie!

 

this is why $$$$$$$$$$ I do not have.

really I love to get my own authority, but that takes money. Since I broke down in Virginia before Christmas I have not recouped, and even went further down in cash. Just read back through this and you can see what I been through. It is in my plans to get my own Authority. But I would need Money to DO SO...

 

One thing I failed to mention yesterday about the Job offer I got, was who recommended me. It was one of the Companies that everyone loves to Hate. Yes one of the top 5 Companies told this guy about me. JB Hunt. And I never drove for JB, and I have turned them down many times.

So I must say Thank you JB Hunt.....

 

Well I was told I would get a call either yesterday (Sunday) or today, so far nothing. I hate not knowing, not hearing. To me Communication is very IMPORTANT. If I get another Call from another Company do I say no, or do I take the offer? I can not afford to say no if I get a call if someone else calls. If one door shuts, another one will Open, but when.

 

I would not pass up a job waiting for another one!

If the job you really wants presents itself before you report, then you can gracefully back out of the other job.

You have to keep several balls in the air at the same time and then grab the one you want and let the others hit the floor.

Well today I heard from another Company. I said no cause if I had the money to buy Insurance, Tags and get my own authority, why would I want to give them 30% of what I can get 100% of doing myself? He required I have own tags, Insurance, and authority and I could lease on with them. Was I born yesterday? Not that I know of.......

 

i thought the whole point of leasing was for the tags,ins. & authority. he didn't understand that part did he.
