I'm not above eating one. I found out about 15 minutes ago. Catfish! Going to have some deep-fried catfish! I'm not supposed to be eating fried anything, but I plan to eat my share tonight! Homemade hushpuppies too!

The regulation that set the size of a loaf of bread was done away with a few years back. Now most big commercial bakeries are doing lighter more airy bread as a way to cut cost of production. Franz has also done this on some products. Others are still made the traditional way.

I can recommend Seattle Sourdough products. They are owned by Franz but again have kept their traditional qualities. I find the sliced sandwich round loaf very good. I would prefer it to be more sour, but it is sufficient.

I have a slight advantage in that I have an outlet store in the big town north of me so can pick and choose from the entire product line.

I am partial to the Toaster muffin/biscuit line. Specifically the buttermilk biscuits.

Also partial to the organic line, not cause it's organic but because the 20oz organic loaf slices are thin enough to actually bite a sandwich made with 2 slices. Many manufacturers have increased the slice thickness so consumers go through a loaf faster. The organic line will hold up to a not so damp sandwich, kinda marginal for soup unless lightly toasted.

I'm guessing that you're at a diner, on account of the butter packets.

This a local place? I'm hungry for details.

And a piece of chicken fried steak.

    And a roll.

Saw a shark swim by......SEVERAL TIMES?!?

I should think that exactly ONE "swim by" would be sufficient stimulus to trigger the "fight or flight" reflex in your average snorkler, enabling said snorkler to cover the fifty yards to shore in approximately 3.5 to 4 seconds......

Has anyone checked the shark's bank account? There might be more to this story than they're telling.....

Gasp — they prayed before the game — that’ll trigger the fruitcakes— and and they had rifles while they sang the anthem
