There is #### to eat no matter what profession or undertaking one has in life. Ones overall attitude makes a huge difference in how many servings there will be. Positive attracts positive, negative attracts negative. All trucking companies are not the same, some work better for one person, and others for the next person.

Okay, sorry for jumping on you then. But the OP asked for info on the company, and you served him your take on the entire industry. Why not tell him what you know about the company?

Knock me over with a feather. This here is what it’s all about. Introducing our newest granddaughter, Vivian Claire. Born at 0845 this morning. Mom and daughter are doing just fine. This sure is better then discussing trucking. ED80CAAF-4A26-47B0-8E94-84C0FA9D9F4A.jpeg

The problem is nobody wants to hear the truth because it’s offensive… The people with their eyes open knows there’s garbage that goes on in every profession it’s the people that wanna walk around in life with blind folders on that are the issue because they don’t want to see what’s going on they just want to be told And told not the truth

Hey, I like truth. Sometimes it sucks, oh well. But that's not a one way street. Some people are blinded from the truth by their own attitude, good or bad. I don't think we are too far apart on the idea of blinders.

And this post right here proves my attitude about life is spot on. Yours? Not so much. Don’t like what I post? Block me.

Here is what is to be expected. Just like the company I’m at, we too are owned by Knight/Swift Holdings Corporation. A multibillion dollar corporation. I’ve been at my company for 10 years now. They bought us 5 years ago. Barr-Nunn was bought by them 2 years prior. We all are solely owned subsidiaries that were bought solely because we are financially secure. When our buyout happened, I asked multiple Barr-Nunn drivers how things changed. They all said the same thing. Little by little, they will put in their corporate strategy. A few things will change immediately, a lot will change over the coming months and years. For instance, our health insurance improved. We went from being paid every 2 weeks, to weekly. We went from weekly 401K match to yearly. And if you quit a week before the February match, you don’t get it. Operations has the Knight stamp in it. Constant change in operations. In the 5 years since the buyout, my job is still the same. If you research Barr-Nunn enough, you will see over the past few year’s advertising pertaining to the latest great idea geared towards the driver. Just like the rest of OTR trucking, it’s nothing more than an advertising tool to attract drivers. If these systems that are put in place really worked, why the constant money expenditure on advertising? At the end of the day, they are owned by a mega carrier that has a boatload of trucks to fill.
