I would be interested in that book. I’ll see if I can find it. I geek out on stuff like that about our industry

Yes, you can, a nice indian girl will answer your call and tell you to bid through the app. They might give you $1,350. But it's a 2 days load, second pickup is in Indiana, 417 total miles.

There’s a whole series of them. Not sure if you can still find them on Amazon or not.

But it's a 2 days load. Then you must immediately leave after you're done and find a parking at 3 or 4 in the morning.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

That's more money or walk away. Have to leave and find parking at 3 or 4 in the morning? The inhumanity of it all!! Sorry I dont understand the problem there? You've got 2/8, 3/7 splits and PC at your disposal, or paper logs maybe?

Oxbow, Rideandrepair, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this.

Normally it is a bid but if close and they need it moved they will call you sometimes as well. I have won some good loads on it but not a lot done the last year from them. Still keep them in the process anytime I am looking for work. I used to get some real good ones going to tx from Mo. 2000-3000 for a one day trip.

Do they have an audio book on that. I would not mind listening to it when driving. Would be pretty interesting!

    Oxbow and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Truth to be told, I think I've been to that Aldi and, exceptionally, it has a staging area.
    It doesn't matter.
The load is not too sexy, and it doesn't serve the intended example.

I'll keep my current $955 Straight shot with pre booked 2nd leg.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

With the way things are it probably wouldn't pay a lot more anyway. They might pay $1500 if they are feeling the pinch but that's not really so great. Multi-stoppers do pay better but they're not paying what they were or should.
