    @Frank Speak @TB John @Lonesome @mjd4277 @Sirscrapntruckalot @Chinatown

    Check out this bull crap.

    My company wants me to electronically sign this form which decreases my pay from .68 to .61 cpm.

    I am curious about the legality of such.
    Is this due to the economy? My performance as a driver?

    And no, this is not a 1099 job out of Chicago. :evil3:

    Might be time to start planning an exit strategy, if theyre that bad off to cut driver pay thats not a good sign.

    I would be on the phone to 360-332-1444 in a heartbeat to find out WTF. In fact I'm so outraged I might call them as a concerned citizen on your behalf.:mad: Who do I need to speak to?

    That's my plan for now. I am going to discuss this with other drivers if I come across one. Need to find out if this company wide or just little ole me that has been selected.

    The company has been buying new tractors since I signed on. Gotta wonder if they are becoming less solvent.

    Think I'll contact an employment attorney from Washington to inquire about the legality of this document.

    Update: found this on the interwebs.

    "Washington does not have any laws addressing when or how an employer may reduce an employee's wages or whether an employer must provide employees notice prior to instituting a wage reduction. Any wage reduction can only be applied to hours worked after the change and cannot be applied to hours already worked."

    My question is now how long has this pay decrease been planned?

    Youd think theyd stop spending money on new tractors before they start screwing with driver pay. Keep them for 4 or 5 years instead of selling them off at 3 years.

    "Hey, things are tight, we need to to run that tractor another 100k so we dont have to reduce pay, you ok with that?" Sound fair enough, right?
