What AC unit are you powering with the generator?

You not worried about someone stealing it with just a strap?

A window unit? Also those cable locks are #### hard to cut with bolt cutters. Imo better than using chains to lock it.

its the portable a/c it sits in front of my passenger seat while I drive.....but you do run a exhaust hose out the window.......for now......If I decide to keep running it I would try to cut a whole near side box and exhaust there.....but we ll see.

The window/portable units are not very efficient. They cycle off and on which causes the generator to surge. The pans also tend to be too small for the condensation, so they overflow or need a bucket to get emptied periodically. The only upsides are that they're cheap to buy, and don't require permanent alterations to the vehicle so they can go from one truck to the next easily.

So yesterday was the first load with the new setup….I attached a video…. It works. It got pretty chilly, it was only 85ish but it definitely kept me cool and comfortable I still gotta come up with a better template for the exhaust
