Seems pilot is on a big kick adding Southern Tire Marts to many locations. 1. Plymouth,Indiana although they bought the empty lot next to the truckstop so it won't take away parking spots. 2. Brazil, Indiana. It's going to be in the lot so not sure have many less parking spots it'll have. 3. Troy, IL... Same thing it's being built in the truck parking area... Most of those Southern Tire locations have bankers hours, maybe at the truckstops they will stay open late or 24/7 ? Any other locations under construction that you'll have noticed?
They’re putting one in behind the Pilot in Oakwood IL. Technically they’re losing about a handful of spots because of the entrance and exit but I’m sure guys will just park along the driveways and around the edge of the shop so could actually be gaining some parking. Lol
PFJ has been on a rampage of adding Southern Marts everywhere for a couple of years now. Once they merged, they made a commitment to add one to just about every location. The squeezed on into the London, OH and Monteagle, TN locations. In the next couple of years, just about every location will a tire shop. They're trying to keep up with Love's and TA/Petro I imagine
