Hey pigfarmer01 my recruiter told me the same thing. I start orientation this monday.. Good luck to u 2
good luck to you two. i hope to follow you pigfarmer as i was born and raised in utah. keep us posted
In in training now with 30 hours left. I understand you can go solo or team, your choice. As trainee, you run like a team. Hard to get good sleep running down the road in sleeper. Miles will be great, truck rarely stops, not even for showed till 70 runs out for both of you. I'm hoping to go solo myself, miles might suffer due to non time sensitive loads solo would get.
hey thanks for the info i will keep all posted on things when i can i leave tomarrow and we will see where this adventure takes us lol good luck to all and once agin thanks
bump to the top. hows it going guys, i was just offered the same thing as you too. Team 6weeks out 1 week home. Just wanted to see how its going
Perhaps they are in the TWILIGHT ZONE........... Pigfarmer hasn't been seen since feb 9th. And Deuce comes around, but stopped posting. So many folks disappear around here !!!!!!!!!!!!!
no im not in the TWILIGHT ZONE, lol... but i just tested out and im waiting on my permits to come for my truck, they game me a new 2010 Prostar so as soon as my permits come i will b on the road.
Thats not a lot of miles. You can only run 650 miles a day solo on an 11 hour clock if the max speed it 65 mph, and in a lot of cases that speed limits are 55. What are their trucks speed governed at? That will be a determining factor on miles per day. If you split 650 miles per day between two drivers; you won't be making much money. Sorry to say. The recruiters make it sound good, but that's their job. The reality is a whole 'nother story.
