Most gasoline or petroleum companies want 2 years tanker experience. But they are a few that will take new drivers but I've never seen them do that without going face to face with them.

Hauling gasoline has three types of companies that do it. The common carrier that will pull for anyone. Their pay is the lowest. The dedicated carriers that pull for a major. Their pay is alot better. Then the majors themselves which is the motherlode. The majors will advertise on their websites but you really have to be known by someone to get on with them. We had a 5 year waiting list and none of ouir drivers ever quit.

However, there's a path there that you can take to make really good money. It may take you a few years but I know lots of drivers bringing home 80K a year and home every night.

If he needed drovers he would. Half of what the tank industry was moving is no longer moving. Work is slow. Plastics used in manufacturing not needed when no manufacturing is taking place. When the manufacturer is not working, they also do not need the water treatment products they were using, and the solvents to clean their molds and other equipment. Industry will not expand until the threat of the Crap and Tax, Cap and Trade bill no longer hangs over their heads. Welcome to Jimma Cahter's second term. Just like a few years after I got out of school. Only these "people" are even more Marxist. Good luck, you'll need it.

    Huh???
I'm leased to Miller Transporters and we're running our tails off this year. Monomers are one of our busiest products right now and they are used in making of plastics.

Only 3 hours before playing the race card?

Lots of tanker companies don't have this requirement. Its due to Chemical plants that require respitators. I have only needed to shave once in 2 years. Food grade won't require it.
