Marten Transport (19 month review)

In comparison to paying for the fuel at that rate, no it's not terrible. No, I wouldn't do it.

 

ALOT of the guys I know that went oo during the boom are either out my force or decided to go company again because it's just unsustainable

 

I was just at the Tucker terminal last night with another driver who’s been with the company 14 years (next month I will have been with Marten 8 years) and he’s saying he’s never seen the freight situation this bad!

 

I'm glad to be away from the roller coaster. I remember 2008 and some other difficult freight years too. I'm totally unaffected by it now we're non-stop busy all year long.

 

Yes bro LTL is different but not every LTL company is getting by. Some people are feeling it on certain lanes and some aren't but we're ok it seems. I'm hearing truckload companies, especially oo are taking it hard.

I'm glad to hear that. Keep in getting that money as long as your health permits.

I’d like to know how much the payload weighed. Looks like too much product in the head of the trailer.
