Maybe by most people’s standards but me I live on roller dogs when I’am out personally I like the ones that have been seasoned for 4 or more hrs I also enjoy the ones that have low turn time on them too
The problem at most truck stops with roller dogs is that they are not on the rollers long enough. They refill the rollers and inpatient drivers just slap them on stale rolls and go. I prefer mine well "rolled" and I pre-heat the roll before the we'll cooked hot dog.
We connoisseur’s of the rotating dog know there is a certain protocol and etiquette evolved in the Selection of the dog. if the Machine has been loaded in the correct manner , you should select you dog from the front of the rotation device . The issue is the care takers of the roller dog machine lack proper training and fail to keep the machines we’ll stocked. There is also the on going problem of uneducated customers
