My current and foreseeable future setup is:

French press, small grinder, small teapot to heat the water, and a higher power than standard hot plate to heat the well water.

Drop the grounds from the last batch in the grounds bucket. Rinse the french press as way to get HOT water to put in the teapot. My tap water is set to 160 degrees. As the water is finishing getting to boiling, grind the beans and dump in the press. Once kettle starts to tweet/whistle, dump some hot water on the ground beans in the press. About the time I finish washing a couple of small plates and utensils from last night's desserts the "go Juice" is good to go.

It's just the morning procedure that works best for me. Minimum Finicky tech.

    First thing in the morning?
    I'll sacrifice quality for efficiency.
Heck, half the time I can't even tell you what time it is.....however, I will happily point you to a clock.

Well, it's like the article says, most folks don't have the freedom, financially or by employment, to just take the day off. I think it says a lot that his wife didn't attend. And that might speak to the low turnout as well. Sumpin fishey here. Iowa people aren't stupid.

I work it on autopilot. No brain no pain.

Been doing it so long only thing that breaks me is if the wife uses the last of the beans and don't refill the canister.

I wake up, push 1 button, and then push another twice. Then I go pee. That's all I'm capable of.
