I applied to a few companies and like to do some due diligent digging and look out for fellow truckers such as myself from being lured into the dark. I understand there are pros and cons for each company, but if one can share the highs ....the lows should be shared too.

The problems we see concerning that is what one driver sees as a negative, is not an issue with another driver.

Xtreme Trucking in Maribel, Wisconsin has a $1500 per week guaranteed pay program but I believe you must work 5.5 days a week to get it and that is doing reefer work with Lanes running in a triangle area from Wisconsin at the top to All points in between Texas and Florida being at the bottom of the triangle.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

And some negative reviews of companies. Are from some driver who really wants O/O freedom but can't afford it. So complains when a company tells them where to go. Which sometimes got a say on if talk it out with dispatcher. But company driver doesn't really get that much of a say

The company I work for looking for drivers in PA OH MI still. I was in Imperial PA(Pittsburgh area) The local yard truck broke down. They paid me $25 for each trailer I moved for them. They just hired 2 more people for that customer as yard dog driver. They are training them or trying them out since they don’t have CDLs. They two guys doing it now are working 12 shifts for something like $25 per hour plus overtime.

maybe it not good sign when it slow they still looking for drivers ha ha but they started hiring drivers r without experience couple years ago to expand fleet. Seems like they have the problem of keeping drivers as they have expanded. They have more and more short runs. But they have guaranteed minimum pay
