Well that link is a drive. Pre set is not the same as sealed hub. Aluminum concern, well they have been avaliable since the 70's and work just fine.

The sealed is low maintenance and quick R+R for dealerships who don't care about your cost.

I don't know if your understanding what your working on. Are you trolling or honesty looking for help?

I was honestly looking for help considering I haven't opened them up yet.
I honestly didn't know if they were LSTO, Grease, Oil or sealed.

I've been around the block a few times as a mechanic. Shade tree, Industrial, Mining, OTR trucks, SR-71 Blackbird, F-16, and F-117A stealth fighter.

This is something I haven't seen before and have questions. Sorry if my knowledge of these doesn't exceed yours.

Considering I am going off what I am being told in this forum, Why am I being questioned If I know what I'm working on?

    Wasn't that my original question???

That's not my point. I do help anyone I can. And I have on this forum. But since you listed your accomplishments in a snide perspective. It tells me what I suspected. I'm no car mechanic, nor a hvac, or painter. But don't need to take offense when others take time to try and help me out. Good luck, everything your doing will be fine and they will last forever Sir. I'll return to sweeping the floors. Dick face.

But that was your point in your comments. I appreciate any help I can get on this forum but yet, there always seems to be a dick face that takes #### to the extreme. You questioned my ability to diagnose my hubs even after I stated I hadn't even opened them up yet. I then stated some of my life experiences and you got defensive and called me a dick face. Way to show you drain pan size. SMDH

Sincerely!!! Thank you all who haven't been a dick face and helped me out with this. I would thank you James, but quit being a dickface when someone with a bigger drain pan talks to you. Stay petty my friend

I thought Stemco made kits that have press on spindle collars to retro fit some of those con mets to tapered bearings and oil bath.
White used them in the late 60’s and 70’s on their White made axles. Anything Rockwell was Timken tapered. Stemco made kits to change the Whites hubs to Timken types.

That I do not know, and would like the info on. Seems like a good solution.

I had quite a few of those on my trucks. They had a 500K or 750K warranty. Had a few go bad. They say "non-serviceable" but you can replace the bearings/seal. Just voided the warranty.
