I had that in march this year but I didn’t get ticket or anything like that road was slippery rainy day and I hit the other car
I got a call back from the recruiter she said I have got all the information “and everything looks good “ she also said one of the dispatchers will give you a call to discuss the 2 routs that we have have .idk what that means but so far things looks good anyone have any idea what I can expect from that call with dispatchers please share thanks
It's tough to say. They're probably just going to touch base on how they do things there. They'll probably send you out with a trainer for some weeks since you're inexperienced. Once you get by the training, then they put you in a truck on your own, and you start running their freight. They have a decent amount of customers so it's probably a lot of dedicated runs that they've built up. You'll learn all of their running lanes over time. That's the discussion that I'm speculating that they'll have with you.
got the call from dispatch and went through most of the stuff I want to do otr but he seems to Perfer daily and he said if the rout is more than 400mi you’ll get paid cpm but if the mileage is less than that you get hourly I’m not interested in hourly but I didn’t want to close any doors so I told him I prefer otr but I’m willing to do any of them since I’m inexperienced he was cool with it and he said everything looks good from my side so I’m going to call the recruiter to give her green light from his side I asked him about the cpm but he said I need to talk to her about that I wonder what would be a fair cpm after my training. He said I can promise you a job but I can’t promise that otr position will be available after my training he also mentioned even you do daily if any otr gets available you’ll have a chance to do that as well thanks
I think you are right about that but I’m sure it’ll be better or equal to western express any way I’m happy about the outcome and the help I have got so far from you guys thanks
