I was really dreading it. I HATE going to the DMV. You can set up an appointment at most of them in Alabama but the one I usually go to didn't have any appointments available for the day I was already scheduled to be off work so I went to another DMV, one I had never been to. That made the dread even worse. As it turns out, it wasn't a bad experience at all. And yes, I'll certainly consider myself lucky this time.
Just go to the place in Elk Grove Village. Stand in line, then stand in line again. Pay your money and no tests.
