My worry would be what do they pay because even at $30 a hr at only 40 hrs a week is only $1200 . that’s before taxes unless you don’t live in a state that doesn’t tax income . Not a lot of money if that’s the case

Just got to budget wisely. I feel I've bought all the toys I need and that's it. My next move is a travel trailer. Shuffle around to where all the good local work is.

That’s about what i make $2300-2400 every two weeks , so i understand about having to watch your Money. i’m looking for local work that pays more but i’m picky. I will not go work for just anyone because they pay more . Not worth the extra bs and stress if i have to deal with bad dispatch or management. I work at a mega carrier doing local mon-fri and besides the money i’m treated pretty good . no forced dispatch, if i call in sick or for bad weather because of a snow storm no problems. zeno one bugs you unless you screw something up ,It’s just the $24-25 a hr that sucks

I do see quite a few of the mega carriers with daycab operations. Definitely a good thing to consider with the amount of experience I've accumulated.

First mention of Costco I’ve seen on here. Friend of mine’s brother just retired from the Phoenix area. Moved back to Michigan, bought a nice house near the Lake. He worked there over 30 years. Was Driver of the year a couple times. Apparently it’s one of the best jobs in Trucking from everything I’ve heard. He stuck it out and now has it made

Yep. Costco trucking seems to be one of the better kept secrets when it comes to the trucking jobs search. Reddit and here, can't really seem to find anything on it.
