“Nice” is what I thought, too. Best job I’ve ever had by far.

I left Winter Haven this afternoon after my 34 was complete. I’m deadheading 1,086 miles up to Fair Oaks, Indiana to run some South Dakota loads.

Not me, give me a relaxed 1500 mile week where I can still gross over $2K. I have gotten lazy in my old age. :D

Well, yeah, I'm young, and want to make money, that's understandable.

If he's grossing 2k a week he's making money. Work smarter not harder.

Dude, multiple people have mentioned LTL. Go get a job with one of the big boys, before you’re 30 you’ll be sitting large. OTR use to be the way to go, not anymore. Every time I read someone say miles, miles, miles, I get nauseous. There are jobs out there paying $2200 per week guaranteed, driving 1800-2000 miles per week. Then anything over 2200 miles pays $1.00 a mile. Ask me how I know. If I had to go back to 1979, when I started, knowing what I know today, I wouldn’t touch OTR. It would have been one of the freight companies.

Are the Canadians treating you ok when you do your cross-border loads now? I was wondering if the tariff war and political head butting had caused any waves or unusual attitudes in the places you stop to eat, etc. I hope things are still well for you up there.

Isn’t there a fed ex hub in Port St. Lucie @JohnBoy ? The one here in Ocala has multiple contractors hiring drivers with a years experience.
