me neither...for what we pay for cable, and all the channels, we wait till it comes on that. movies today are not like decades ago..the movies stayed in the theater for at least 6 months, maybe longer. but for the past 2(?) decades now, they get out of the theaters like in about a months time.. we do not waste our money on pre-popped soft not crispy popcorn, $10.00 flat sodas, or $10.00 candy bars.... so its a non-issue for us here as well to wait.
Wife and I haven't had TV in 17 or so years. The kids moved out and we realized we were paying almost a hundred dollars a month and watching local news and Law and Order. We don't miss it. Last movie I went to see in a theater was Grand Torino. Nowadays you can get all the news you can stomach on the cell phone. If we stay in a motel we'll be looking for reruns of Law and Order. Lol.
I'll second that. I'm not a big movie person at all but I was glad I went and saw Gran Torino in the theater.
Gran Torino is one of those movies I don't think any man under 30 can truely understand and appreciate.
