only if you have prior driving exp. but umm you can go threw their school and training and be a trainer after 6 months. of course not having any serious logging violations, no accidents, your dm's approval. just putting the facts out there....don't get me started on right or wrong.
Hi jls1024, Thank you for the positive post I just came off 5 weeks on the truck with my boyfriend. He a new driver for CRE, just leased a cascadia the beginning of May. We did really well (no major arguments). We are talking about me going through the program, and then team driving. After reading all of the negative posts about England, I have been having second thoughts. I would love to pick your brain sometime, when you have the time to chat. Thanks again, Linda
YuP! We're still here. So, all the nightmare stories about CRE's lease program are inaccurate? Seems some folks would give up a marriage rather than start a relationship with CRE. I glad things are working out for you. Congratulations. What advice would you offer others to better their chances of success at C.R. England? And, in your opinion, are all the negative comments posted exaggerations? Please continue to keep us informed.
Are there any other compaines that will hire you with a 2yo suspended on your mvr? I have no dui's, felonies or anything else. I am in MI. I too would like to know if what is said here about CRE is exagerated or not.
If only I would have found this sight and listened I would not have gone through a year of hell .C. R. ENGLAND has a bad reputation they thrive on a high turn over Most don't make it a few can survive But why would you want to drive company for 1/2 to 2/3 what other company's will pay if you are foolish enough to Leese as I did on a good week (3400 miles) you'll make .32 cents per mile on a bad week (2000 miles you make .10 cents per mile on a relay bad week (1500 or less) you will owe them $$$ winter is here you'll finish your training around the 1st of the year freight slows down big time Jan Feb always has always will .Winter driving is hard enough on experienced drivers with good company's get some fair weather driving miles on before you tackle the sloops
Ok Yes Hometown lodge is bad, but the strip club is not inside it is next door, Please dont let him lease..... England is an ok company for starters but the lease to start is not a great idea unless you are great in busness then even unless your a trainer or a team they leave you broke...I am turning my truck in at burns this week to move onto another company....Good luck to you and your husband
