Cat and Cummins both had 600s at 1850 and 2050. Cat had a 575 and Cummins a 565 at 1850. All 550 are 1850. You could get a Cat with 1850 down to 475hp and you can still get a Cummins at 485 1850. The 435 detroit 14L could be either 1450 or 1550 torque.

The Detroit 12.7 had 1450,1550 and 1650 torque ratings, the pre '02 14ltr engines went to 1850,after '02 when they started using 14ltr (egr)for the lower HP applications instead of 12.7s they had all different TQ ratings below 1850.That info is for on hiway applications.

The RTLO-16913A is all you need. If you have a straight 10 than I belive the drive line length will need to be changed also. I think the super 10 is the same length.

I think the last year of the N14 it could go to 550 but im not possitive. I also think your 500 is only 1650 torque. I think the 525s were 1850 torque but others might confirm this. I definetly could be wrong.

Maybe off topic here but I'm going to work for a company that has 13 speed but I was trained with a 10 speed. I had no problems with the 10 speed and was wondering how hard it will be to get used to a 13 speed. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

I'd just about guarantee you that you'll never want to go back to a straight 10 spd once you get used to having a splitter. Less rpm drops when under a heavy pull when you have to drop a gear or two to keep you in the torque curve...less of a struggle to get to the top. You'll wonder how you ever got by without it.
