Sorry.....I paid the local Medicine Man to do the "Send the bad weather up to Nor-Cal and NV" dance.....
Either you have an impostor for a medicine man...or you insulted him with too small a payment.....cause since you posted...everything has cleared up! Sunshine and a whopping 53 degrees for today, and last night only got down to 43....must be a tropical system moving in...
Picking up a load in Fresno this morning that goes to a drop yard in Fontana,so I'll probably take 58 East. Besides, that's too many numbers I'll get lost lol.
By the time you get loaded and underway, Your best bet is going to be I5 south probably. Taking CA58 to US395 puts you gambling on 2 mountain passes instead of 1. Tehachapi and Cajon. I6 south will probably be open by 10am.
Grapevine still closed? I heard they got some 90 mph winds last night! I'm sure PJ meant I-5 open by 10am...haven't been on I-6 yet...is that the Interstate for the illegals to get North of the border?
I hope all this California rain and snow an cold is done because I'm heading there on Friday for vacation from the snow.
as per Caltrans road report SR 58 [IN THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AREA] IS CLOSED FROM 6.2 MI EAST OF THE JCT OF SR 184 (KERN CO) TO THE JCT OF US 395 (SAN BERNARDINO CO) - DUE TO SNOW - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
