should not have to replace the entire unit for a DC cord..

Back up your old TND via the TND Dock and then on a new TND, just restore... do not do "All".

    Thanks,
    Mark

Pilot is good for 30 days I think, but RAND is good for one year.

    Thanks,
    Mark

My computer HD crashed last Thursday and had to get it fixed. Had everything on external drives, but took me 8 hours to recover all my E-Mails.

Build another laptop and then had to rebuild the crashed laptop again that I lost my programs on..

So, been offline for 3 days...

    Thanks,
    Mark

main core is NavTeq and map updates are latest from them.

Truck attributes are Rand's DB overlaid. Anything that has been reported has been verified and corrected in Rand's DB if need be and is pushed out with the map dB update since the two intertwine.

    Thanks,
    Mark

136 pages of "support" for a gps that oughta have it's s#!t together outa the box when ya buy it?
I think this thread does more damage to Rands TND sales than having no support thread at all!
If I was a prospective buyer of a TND, after reading this, I'd buy something else. (which is what I did)
    Just an observation.

    Was sent to Rand today.
While it was still working the unit could not find Robbinsville, NJ.
