I hear ya xls . . . I also have to be very careful about any exercise that I do because of a messed up back. It can be really tricky, especially when something as simple as standing up and stretching can mess me up.

Actually, I'm lucky that I have a high metabolism rate. Have always had.

Exercise??? Check out the latter pages of the "Got Chrome??? How about Armor???" thread at truckforum.org---you'll see plenty of ways to exercise out there on BLM land, which BTW belongs to you!!! Gotta love BLM land... it's the bomb when it comes to exercise. :biggrin_255:

get up drive to lumber mill, strap down load, get tarps out, roll out and secure tarps, drive 6 hours, unsecure tarps, pull them off the load, roll tarps, put tarps away, put bungee's away, remove and roll straps, go to bed... wake up and repeat.....:biggrin_2556:

Here is a variation on the pushups that you should be able to do. Lie down while having your left side of your body against the back of your bunk. Now, use your right hand to push yourself up. Make sure the legs and hips rise the same as your upper body does. Flip over to repeat on the other side. This is also great for finding any imbalances from right to left, and then you can correct this imbalance by always starting with your weaker side first.
