Took a couple of days off. Its always good to use my own shower and sleep in my own bed. Got rid of my iphone and got a droid (HTC Inspire). I thought I would try it and see what it was all about. I'm thinking I like the iphone better. I have 30 days to try it out so we'll see.

Picked up in Trenton Thursday and headed to Eden. Loaded up there and now heading to Milwaukee. Sitting in Beckley waiting for 7 to roll around so I can roll on down the road. I think I saw Spanky's truck parked in here Thursday night on my way through.

    Spanky where are you???? LOL

Have a safe weekend all and roll on!

Cool beans. I'm in Lowell, IN for the night heading to Milwaukee. Picked up a load of beer in Eden.

I stopped there Thursday night just for a quick break. I had some Asian dude friggin ram my trailer trying to park his truck. Not just bump it but jilted me pretty good, lol. There was no damage thankfully.

And I am no means prejudice, lol. My wife is Asian (Chinese) but he didn't speak very good engrish, lol.

Have a safe trip. Maybe we'll run into each other eventually.

Eden? Which state? My hubby is on his way back to WI with a load of beer he picked up in NC, but I can't remember the name of the city.

We refer to it as Eden, NC but the terminal is actually in VA. The Miller brewery is in NC. Its right there on the state line. Does your husband drive for Millis?

I thought the town you mentioned sounded right. I think you and my hubby picked up at the same place! He drives for B & G, a small outfit of about 20 trucks out of WI. He loaded at about 6 this morning. He delivers on Tuesday in Sussex, just outside of Milwaukee. They set him up for that because he has a doctor's appointment on Monday that he cannot miss.

He hauls spuds out of WI and then they book other stuff for them to bring back up this way.

Sitting at the T/A in London, OH (just west of columbus) waiting for my appt to drop in the morn. Feeling sick cuz I ate the truckstop food, lol. I don't know if I'm brave or stupid.

Man I had the weirdest thing happen to me on the way here. I picked up in West Allis, a beer load going to a disty in Columbus. It's mostly kegs, with a couple of pallets of bottles and cans. Anyway, I'm going through Chicago and it's about 11 a.m. so the traffic is crappy as usual that time of day, and it's raining to help matters.

Stop and go traffic, at one point I had to hit my brakes. Not hard, just the norm for traffic. There was a "Crash sound and jolt" like somebody slammed me from the rear. I look in my mirrors and see nobody jumping out yelling or anything. Everything appears to be normal.

Then I think "oh ##### my load shifted". So that's all I have on my mind until I get to the T/A at Gary so I can check it out. Go to open the trailer doors thinking it's going to be ugly. I see nothing wrong. I climbed up on the kegs and waddled up to the bulkhead, everything is in place.

I have no idea what the crash was, but it was real. Not a figment of my imagination. Still has me puzzled.

Anyway, that was long sorry. Be safe out there guys n gals.

I wonder if your tandem pins weren't. Fully engaged and jumped a whole or two? Only thing I can think of.
