this is rare engine. Used ov fat trucks only. And Mercedes install WSK (Clutch with big torque converter), becouse this engine easily burns any clutch of convinient design with iverweight load.
i know for one but used in stone crusher rated at only 660hp but there was some versions of trucks with om404 also v12 om404 with 420ps and 134kgm and om404a with 525ps( that is about 538hp) and 188kgm gearbox was 4s150gpa
this kind of engines are used on fat trucks not for peak horspower, but for high low end torque. To use V12 on highway now... really there is no reason, becouse with regular load this engine will not be faster common semi trucktor.

also here , but this go thought our resellers, so if you want to sell your old mercedes ng 2626 or 2632 and it is in really bad condition and it is not anymore cost-effective to operate that +/-35 year old truck , and one guy find this truck and he call his boss in germany or any other country and he said i find truck and i give him 500€ for down payment..... and truck cost 7000€ for example (35year old mercedes in bad condition is about that ) after that his boss send to him money and he bought it ( and he grab 500-1000€ to himself) than truck is loaded on trailer on other truck on semitrailer depending on situation that cost maybe max 1000€ for shipping to germany , than trader paint it but not good ( he want to make it as cheapest as possible) repair something if it is really necessary and this truck now cost 17000-19000€ so he can earn 8000-10000€ per truck. Why?
