I went through three different companies and there lies until I found A.D. Transport Express. I have been with this company for 7 months now and they had lived up to every word they told me. They also have nice T-600 Kenworth with 470 Acert twin turbo CATS. This company has treated me with respect and concern meaning, they care more about safety than getting you and the freight there on time. They have excellent one hundred percent medical coverage at a reasonable rate. They will not force you upon loads or dispatch if you are out of hours. They do not match logs with arrival and departure times. And they have a excellent safety bonus at end of each month. They only hire exp. three years with at least one year in past three years. I have to say this is were I will finally stay. Good luck to those fotunate enough to read this and give them a try.:biggrin_25520:

Sounds like a company I used to work for. I say "used to" because they went belly up in '99. This outfit wasn't forced dispatch, and fireballing was pretty much non-existent. They even had great equipment. When I started, I was given a new 2000 Volvo. I hired on in May and put about 42K on it in about 3 1/2 months. I took a break from driving at the end of that summer and went back to college. I wanted to come back and drive for this outfit again, but when I returned the next May, I found an empty lot as well as an empty office building. I then called the owner and got the bad news from him.

You say you'll be there forever, and I hope this company stays in business that long so you will be. Mine didn't.

Well, luckily A+D has been around for a while. The only question is that it seems they haul a lot of auto parts, but even with the change in the way that parts run, they have been able to keep business and keep going.

Of course, only time will tell...

This sounds like the type of company I'm looking for. Where is their home office? Do they hire out of northern California?

Auto parts to big 3 would be cut throat, since tier one companies usually puts rest of tiers below out of business regularly. Retail autoparts may be different.

And advertising 50 schools including Roadmaster is a concern. Two red flags is enough for me, not to mention MI area roads.
