No...sorry I don't. All I get is your ignorance is evident everytime you open your trap here.
I also can't help but wonder if that "great tech" you worship realizes just how much you further hurt his business every time you mention his name here cuz after listening to your nonsense the last thing I would do is buy a sparkified radio. Trust me.

I dont worship Sparky,I will suggest at every turn the advantages to buying his plug N play rigs for the average user looking for big bang and little buck.

My ignorance ? :biggrin_2559: intelligence is subjective and to suggest such
without knowledge puts you much closer to "ignorant" they you realize.

Show me the rules there ain't a thing called a trucking radio?
You aren't a driver, you dont run anything to do with 11 meter trucking radio's.

Trucking Radios are OUTLAW rigs that exceed 4 watts regardless
    of the manufactures original design.
Its what "WE" run and there is nothing to stop us.

Nope, hold that wishful thought. . . Charlie ain't got time for it
and neither you or I will live long enough to see the first inclination of their concern over 5+watt mobile outlaw's with TRUCKING RADIO'S.

BEING A DRIVER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT ........ My dad had a CDL untill his death ...

Show me the rules for " TRUCKING RADIOS " even EXPORT radios is MADE UP ...... There is no such thing as a " TRUCKING RADIO " If so it would be covered under FCC rules as for enforcement the FCC IS around ....

http://www.fcc.gov/eb/AmateurActions/Welcome.html This is only enforcement covering HAM or HAM releted problems.

    BTW .....

I have more than 45 years working in 2 way radio at all levels from military to police ...... a few CBs along the way but only for friends ....

It IS possible to have a "truckers radio" that doesn't bleed over channels.
unfortunately most "CB techs" aren't competent enough or willing to set it up correctly. just my two pennies

Yup, a large portion of WA4GCH's posts are educational, helping out with antenna problems, etc. He'll even tell drivers to buy a linear, and advise them on how to set it up and use it. I think you're barking up the wrong tree.

I'm a trucker. I run under my own authority. So you could say that I'm in trucking. I have a radio that I use in the commission of that business. So I guess that makes my radio a trucking radio. It doesn't bleed.

I will have to say I've been in situations where someone was trying to get directions and a base station purposefully walked all over them, the nutjob in Williamsburg, KY used to be terrible about it, as one example. So I'm with Yup on this one, there are occasions where four watts doesn't cut it, but I also don't think that's a good excuse to run power all the time-in fact, a situation where I'm giving directions and can't otherwise be heard is about the only time I use my amp, I bet I turn it on less than once a month anymore.

Why do folks look for absolutes in an imperfect world ?
You new breed folks can not force this crap on an industry such as this.
Look at Nascar, from whiskey bootleggers to this sanitary round E round on a Sunday afternoon most now seldom watch do to it evolution over the last 15 yrs.

We have slang out here that has become a lost art due to the influx
of bubba gumps and rejected corporate losers that are full to their brown eyes with legalism, that flail and fail at cyber social rankings based on a button labeled "Thanks".

CB Radio in a car = Car Radio
CB Radio in Big Truck running legal = Truck Radio
CB Radio in Big Truck peaked and tuned above 4 watts
    "TRUCKIN RADIO"
CB bolted to a box above 4 pill = HEARD!
I run Truckin Radio's in everything I own, even the deer blind
Why? because they work better then what charlie says is sufficient.

    My Guns,My Radio's
I bear them both as I see fit :biggrin_2556:
